Being an owner of many pets, dogs mostly. I took it upon myself to ensure that our dogs are getting the best of what is available out there. It is important to us.
Innova EVO (Large bites)
Right off the bat what I like about his food is the ingredients from the start. The first two ingredients are meat(chicken, turkey) followed by meal of the same types. The potatoes and herring are also a great addition but I do not like fat of any kind. Chicken fat is added. Egg is added, which I found out recently that it is actually ok. I have consulted with other pet owners and veterinarians who are for the egg addition. Whether it comes through store bought dog food or if you make it for them yourselves.
For the adult dog, I actually prefer the Innova EVO Red Meat (Small bites) instead of the Innova EVO. I am ok with more protein.
Innova EVO Red Meat (Small bites)
The high protein content makes it mostly for adult dogs. Too much potency for the young pups in my opinion. Minimal carbohydates and grainless. Its a good substitute when you are not comfortable or not able to give your dog raw food. It is a full complete and balanced meal.
