My research for my dog has turned up the following as the best canned dog foods available for our pets.

This excellent premium canned dog food is avaiable in chicken, liver, beef and fish. I tried all of them for about a month. Mixing them in and watching the dogs reaction. The liver was the winner. Ate the fastest and cleaned the bowl. Looking for another. So the above led me to search for a good canned Venison that wasn’t allergy specific. Low and behold I found Old Mother Hubbard Wellness 95% Venison.

Although intended only for intermittent or supplemental feeding. That was perfect for what I was looking for. I just wanted to get the Venison flavor.  I was happy to find out that this food was packed only with USDA, human-grade meats or deboned chicken, and contains no grains, animal by-products, wheat, corn, soy, artificial preservatives, artificial colors or artificial flavors. There is that buzz phrase again, “human grade”. For now we will take it for what it is worth. Question everything though.
