In this poor economy it’s become difficult for families to provide for their pets.
The Peninsula Pet Pantry founders Geralyn Nelson and Randi Helpinstill started the company after realizing how many pets were being displaced due to the financial hardships of their owners. And with shelters full and rescues having waiting lists, it just came natural to start the Pet Pantry.
These pet food pantries are spreading throughout the country and with help from donations they are able to provide temporary assistance with petfood and supplies to those who cant afford to keep them.
